From May to June I had the amazing opportunity to spend 4 weeks in Venice working at the 16th International Architecture Biennale. I was a fellow at the British Pavilion commissioned by the British Council and curated by Caruso St John and Marcus Taylor. During this time outside of stewarding the pavilion, I had a Venice Fellowship Research Project which I chose to do on Venice’s Unique approach and placement to smart cities and smart city development. This project will go on to inform my projects and practise in my final Hons year at Dundee.
As if all of the above wasn’t enough 12 of the fellows curated our own exhibition in London “Public Reflections” presenting our array of projects to the world. A portion of my work and some photos from the exhibition can be found below. A massive Thank You to Britt Sutcliffe for curating and organising the exhibition and to the entire team at the British Council for making our Biennale experience so special.
The displayed work can be read and viewed in the selected images from the full report below.
