Six personas were made for this project ranging from a Belgian volunteer in Cuba to local elderly citizens and volunteers. The aim of these personas is to consider them, their thoughts, frustrations and feelings throughout the design process of the developing system/service. For this to be done effectively their “persona” was broke down into five parts: Background; Goals; Needs; Barriers & Other – represented by the icons on the left. A quote was also given to get a clearer idea of each personas character.
Because of limited presentation time and slides – a smaller version was also made to funnel the most important information to the audience in a clear and concise manner while sticking still to the initial persona identities.
Following on from this a hybrid between a customer journey map and a service system blueprint was made to show both the journey of a consumer in the system and also hints to the still-developing inner workings of the provided services. This is pictured below.
